The boys were 4, 3 and 1 years old. For the following year and a half we continued to go to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. That is the church that I grew up in and where Howard and I met. In those years, the local weekly newspaper published the monthly meetings of the Prince of Peace Women’s Circles. The notice included the name and phone number of the person’s house where the group was going to meet. I called a hostess many times that lived in North River Hills, and invited myself to their meeting. That was the first connection we had with Prince of Peace and the beginning of our involvement. I think it was the end of 1965 when we joined the church.
