Student Ministry meets September – April to support students in grades 6-12 as they grow into their faith and begin to develop a lifelong relationship with God. Weekly StuMin Worship provides students with opportunities to both participate in and lead worship. Small groups build nurturing and supportive relationships with peers and adult leaders. Service opportunities and special events allow students to express and grow their faith in a variety of ways.

Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:15 pm StuMin is a weekly worship/small group experience for students in grades 6-12. StuMin explores the three relationships mentioned in the greatest commandment: God, self, and others. We want students to experience a love for God that inspires personal faith, a love for themselves rooted in their identity as beloved children of God, and a love for others that develops strong interpersonal connections and motivates a desire to serve.
Wednesdays | 7:00 pm StuMin Worship is a high-energy and teen-relevant on-campus worship experience for students in grades 6-12. Prince of Peace has dedicated one day each year in the life of your child to remember the promises made during baptism. Keeping the Promise Family Experiences (KTP) are designed to teach children about Christian life and equip families to deepen their faith at home.
In response to the promise of placing the Holy Scriptures in your child’s hands, at this KTP families will be invited to place a brand new Bible into the hands of your sixth grader. Then, families will come together to crack the bindings and explore the Bible in a fun and immersive family experience.
Confirmation is a 10-week course offered to students in grades 9-12. In Confirmation, students commit to taking the lead in their own life of discipleship. We help students prepare for this commitment by exploring who God is, who we are, the story we’re a part of, and the life we’ve been called to as followers of Jesus.
Two 10-week sessions are offered on Sunday mornings each year (one in the fall and one in the spring). Each session culminates with a worship celebration when the students publicly affirm their faith.
