Hours & Services

Effective September 1, 2020, Mission Outpost will reopen for full services including food, clothing, household, and MOVE. For anyone not comfortable coming into our building, a drive-thru food only option is also available. Appointments are required for either option and can be made by calling 952-898-9311. Guests are allowed to receive food one time a month. Our new hours will be as follows:

  • Monday & Wednesday – 4:00 – 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday – 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • There will be no Thursday Farmer’s Market

Guests will be required to go through a health screening before entering the building and to wear a mask while in the building. Only one family member may enter the building. However, child care is available for children under age 10. (Masks are required for children age 5-10 and encouraged for children 2-5.) Please let us know if you are bringing children when you make your appointment.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be a limited number of people in the building at any one time.

Our MOVE ministry partners with Dakota County and the State of Minnesota to provide employment resources.

MOVE Ministry

MOVE strives to understand and support individuals and families as they progress from where they are to where they want to be.

Our MOVE team can assist with applications for Employment and Economic Assistance (E&EA), SNAP benefits, MNsure, Energy Assistance, job search and resume building, food and nutritional information and many other resources within our community. If you are interested in serving with Mission Outpost, please email us at outpost@popmn.org. All volunteers must attend an orientation session prior to volunteering. Volunteers must also sign up in advance.

No walk-in volunteers will be accepted, due to COVID-19 precautions.

Beginning Monday, August 24, 2020, Mission Outpost will begin to accept donations of seasonal, good condition clothing, basic household items (linens, dishes and other kitchen items, etc.), non-perishable food, and hygiene items. We cannot accept home décor, baby equipment, toys, out of season clothing, furniture, and electronics. All donations can be dropped off at Door J (east side, lower lever of the Christian Life Center) during the following hours:

  • Monday thru Thursday – 9:00 am – noon
  • Wednesday – 4:00 – 6:30 pm

Please do not drop off items during other times, if the door is unattended, or at other doors.

Guest Eligibility

The first time that guests register for the current year, we request that you bring:

  • Photo ID for everyone in the family who is 18 and older (driver’s license or copy of one, school ID, passport)
  • Identification for everyone in the family 17 and under (SS card, medical card, school ID, birth certificate)

Each time you visit, we request that you bring:

  • Your photo ID and a copy of a current utility bill, medical bill, county mail, etc.


Please park in the parking lot on the west side of the Christian Life Center building and enter through Door H, located on the south side of the building.
