Like everything else in 2020, this Advent and Christmas season will look different, as we celebrate in our homes. We hope you find the resources below helpful as find ways to pause and reflect on the gift of Jesus in our lives and in our homes. Advent Wreaths Each week during worship we will light a candle, which signifies the coming of hope, peace, joy, and love. Then on Christmas Eve, we light the final candle, the Christ candle, as a way of signifying that Christ has come as the light of the world. You can make this a special part of your Advent celebration by making an Advent wreath or purchasing one at a local retailer or online – we have some links provided below to get you started. You can use three purple candles, one pink candle, and the Christ candle is white. As a family you can relight the candle(s) each night at dinner and talk about how Christ is hope, peace, joy, and love. You can also light your Advent wreath during online worship as we light the Advent wreath at Prince of Peace.
