Call Committee Update April 14

We greatly appreciate all the names the congregation surfaced as potential candidates for lead pastor. Our synod bishop vetted each name to determine if qualifications were a fit–and followed those up with conversations, if they were viable candidates based on our ministry site profile. The potential candidate pool also contained people whom the bishop already knew may be a good fit, based on her vast connections and relationships. Members of the call committee also engaged in outreach across the country to surface candidates.

We have completed our first round of interviewing–and are now in the process of scheduling second interviews. Eventually, a final candidate will be presented for board approval. Congregation members will have the opportunity to meet the final candidate before a congregational vote is held.
