Gift Tree

Gifts come in all shapes and sizes and our Gift Tree is a reflection of what that may look like around the world. This year we will be focusing our giving by partnering with Armful of Love, Ebenezer, Tanzania scholarships, and Feed My Starving Children. We invite you to take a tag from our Gift Trees beginning November 17-18 and be the reason for a smile this Christmas. Follow the instructions on the tag and return gifts no later than Sunday, December 2 at noon. Volunteers are needed during the following times:

  • Write Tags for the Gift Trees: Sunday, November 11, 11:00 am, Mission Outpost. Enter through Door H.
  • Hang Tags on Gift Trees: Thursday, November 15, 3:30 pm, Sanctuary
  • Sort Gifts: Sunday, December 2, 11:45 am, meet in Fellowship Hall for orientation. Gifts will be sorted in the Sanctuary.
  • Load Gifts for Transportation: Monday, December 3, 11:00 am, Sanctuary

Advent Worship: Called to Advent

Advent isn’t just a season of the Church year. It’s an invitation to allow the Spirit to transform us and stir our sense of anticipation for the gift of the Christ Child. It’s a time to reflect and remember the significance of Jesus, the Messiah, coming to dwell with us all. Jesus was responding to a calling to fulfill the will of God the Father, and we also can use the season of Advent to respond to the call of Christ in our lives. The still, small voice of God is constantly calling us out of the darkness of sin, death and hopelessness, and into the light of the love, hope and peace that Jesus brings. Join us for this season of Advent.
