Welcome to Mission Outpost! The Prince of Peace community is called to connect with people in need in the south metro area. If you are experiencing a difficult time, Mission Outpost is a hub of hope and wholeness where you can receive food, clothing, prayer and support from caring individuals. Every year Mission Outpost supports thousands of people in our community with the help of hundreds of volunteers and countless donations.
Mission Outpost Services
Guests may receive food, clothing, household items, toiletries and baby items from Mission Outpost one time per month.
Guests may receive food from The Salvation Army Farmer’s Market twice a month, open on Thursday afternoons.
Grow your own fresh produce! You will be responsible for planting, weeding and harvesting a designated garden plot near the Prince of Peace campus. All food grown is for your consumption and cannot be sold for profit. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Guests who are currently experiencing mouth pain may seek assistance from the Mission Outpost Dental Clinic.
The Salvation Army provides heat share, rental assistance and other aid. Call 952‐898‐9367 for details.

- Monday: 1:00 – 3:00 pm (childcare available)
- Monday: 5:00 – 7:00 pm (childcare available)
- Tuesday: noon – 2:00 pm
- Wednesday: 5:00 – 7:00 pm by appointment
- Thursday: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm (childcare available)
- Farmers Market ‐ Thursday: 2:00 – 3:00 pm
The guest sign‐in process begins 1 hour prior to the start of each shift. We reserve the right to limit the number of guests per shift. Visitors arriving within 30 minutes of closing time may receive limited services.
There are many opportunities to volunteer in Mission Outpost on a one‐time or ongoing basis. Current volunteer opportunities.
Donations are an important part of Mission Outpost. Donations may be placed in any of the blue donation bins located at the Prince of Peace entrances. We are able to share the following items with the community:
All financial gifts given will directly support Mission Outpost
Non‐perishable food items: canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, rice, soup, canned meat, bagged lentils, cereal, pancake mix, etc.
Bath towels, bath mats, bedding, blankets, tableware, pots and pans, cutlery
Clothing items for the current season that are clean and without rips, tears or broken zippers
Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products
Diapers, baby wipes, training pants, baby clothes
Provided the cars are in decent working condition they are given to people in need in our community

The first time that guests register for the current year, we request that you bring:
- Photo ID for everyone in the family who is 18 and older (driver’s license or copy of one, school ID, passport)
- Identification for everyone in the family 17 and under (SS card, medical card, school ID, birth certificate)
Each time you visit, we request that you bring:
- Your photo ID and a copy of a current utility bill, medical bill, county mail, etc.
Please park in the parking lot on the west side of the Christian Life Center building and enter through Door H, located on the south side of the building.
