Volunteer

A great way to connect with others is to volunteer. There are many ways to volunteer at Prince of Peace:

• Volunteer in worship. We are looking for communion servers, ushers, greeters, musicians, readers, sound/tech people, online hosts and more.

• Volunteer in family ministry. We are looking for caring adults or teenagers to help out during POP Kids, StuMin, seasonal events like Boo Bash, VBS, Worship Arts Camp and more. Contact Dawn Ridgway: [email protected].

• Volunteer in Mission Outpost, our food shelf / clothing free store / resource hub. Volunteers must attend an orientation session, which takes place on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm. During orientation we will describe the different areas where you can serve. Sign up for orientation here or contact: [email protected].

• Volunteer in Mission Outpost Dental Clinic. We welcome dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and students who want to give back and improve the overall health and safety of our community. Take the first step and fill out the volunteer form here.

• Volunteer in Mission Outpost furniture ministry. We are looking for volunteers to help pick up and deliver furniture. A vehicle is provided. Contact Kim Harris: [email protected] or 952-898-9310.

• We also gather to volunteer outside our walls: in local elementary schools, for example, or at our annual Feed My Starving Children mobile meal pack event every winter. Check back here periodically for specific opportunities.
