Pickleball Group

Thursdays, 8:00 am - 10:00 am | Red Oak Park

Join us for Pickleball! Repurposed Adults has launched a pickleball group for young adults and older. All experience levels are welcome - even if you've never played before. We will help match players up with those at their level.

Participants meet at Red Oak Park (12100 River Hills Drive, Burnsville) every Thursday from 8:00 -10:00 am, weather permitting. Equipment is provided to those who need it.

POP Garden Club

Tuesdays, 9:00 am | Prince of Peace

The POP Garden Club will meet at 9:00 am on Tuesdays this summer to help beautify our campus by pulling weeds, pruning and cleaning up the garden beds.

Everyone is welcome to join and participate as they are able. Come enjoy the fresh air, connection with others, and help our grounds flourish this summer. Please bring your gardening gloves. No experience is needed!

Outdoor Worship

Weekends Through Labor Day | Prince of Peace

Join us this summer for one of Prince of Peace’s favorite traditions - Outdoor Worship! From Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, we gather outside for contemporary worship on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and Sundays at 10:30 am in a relaxed, welcoming setting perfect for inviting friends, family, and neighbors.

Please note: the start date for outdoor worship this year will depend on the completion of our current roof construction project. We’ll share updates as the timeline becomes clearer.

We can’t wait to worship together under the open sky again this summer! Be sure to watch our website and social media for weather updates and announcements once the season begins. You are encouraged to bring your own lawn chair, but we will have some available.

Artist in Residence: Ross King

August 2 | 6:00 pm | Sanctuary

Join us on Sunday, August 2 at 6:00 pm as we welcome acclaimed singer/songwriter Ross King to Prince of Peace for a special Artist in Residence concert.

Enjoy an evening of inspiring contemporary Christian music during this free acoustic performance. Ross has written songs recorded by artists including Newsboys, We Are Messengers, Jason Gray, Jordan Feliz, and many others.

This concert is free and open to everyone.

Introducing: Sew-cial Church!

Wednesday, August 5 | 6:30 - 8:00 pm | Prince of Peace

Get your sewing needles, knitting needles, and crochet hooks ready for Sew-cial Church! Upcoming on August 5, Sew-cial Church will be a place for fiber artists of all kinds to come together and craft together. Bring your own project to work on or join in on our beginner-friendly planned group project - a fabric fidget. No experience, no problem — just bring yourself and a desire to learn!

Leadership Launch

Tuesday, August 18 | 6:30 - 8:30 pm | Prince of Peace

If you currently serve at Prince of Peace or you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to invite you to our Leadership Launch Night on Tuesday, August 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Leadership Launch is a night of vision, training and encouragement as we prepare to launch into a new season of ministry this fall.

We’ll kick off the evening with a keynote from Pastor Mike Carlson from St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi on servant leadership, followed by ministry-specific breakout sessions.

Childcare will be available for those who need it.
