Sensory Space
Our Sensory Space is a rolling cart of sensory tools specially equipped to help people of all ages with sensory needs. The Sensory Space is stationed on the first floor, in a room near the welcome desk, for many church activities and special church services such as Christmas, Easter, etc.
There are also bags in the worship space containing sensory items for all ages and noise-canceling headphones for all ages available for your use. Ask an usher or a volunteer at the Connect Desk to help you!
The Sensory Space was created and equipped by All Abilities Advocates (AAA), a group dedicated to advocating for inclusion and belonging at Prince of Peace. This group is comprised of people who are part of the neurodiversity/disabilities community, family members of people with disabilities, professionals in disability services, POP staff members and more. If you would like more information or to be a part of this group, find them listed among our adult interest groups.
