Worship Arts

Music and art have played a significant role throughout Prince of Peace’s rich history. We deeply value the artistry that contributes to our vibrant worship services. There are several opportunities to get involved with various groups ranging from children’s choirs to instrumental ensembles and more.

Celebration Choir

High school students and adults are invited for an amazing time of singing praises to God. The choir sings during classic worship services, with Thursday evening rehearsals, August – May.

Brass Ensemble

If you play a brass instrument and would like to use your gift as a part of the worship ministry, you are invited to join us. We perform during classic worship services monthly and have Thursday evening rehearsals, August – May.

Children's Choir

The POP Praise Choir (Grades K-5) meets weekly to learn fun, high-energy music while building lasting friendships. Our youngest singers learn music fundamentals and begin to develop their beautiful singing voices. More experienced singers have opportunities to grow into leaders through part singing, solos, musical theater roles and leading worship music. The Praise Choir presents an exciting Spring Musical and combines singing with other music learning fun such as tone chimes, handbells, and ukuleles. All are welcome to sing with us. No audition needed! Kids can choose to practice with the choir on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings.

Student Ministry Worship Band

Students going into grades 6-12 have the opportunity to join the StuMin Worship Band. Participate in leading StuMin worship by singing, playing an instrument, reading scripture/prayers, managing technology and more.

POP Art Guild

Artists gather together once per month for fellowship, inspiration and to plan upcoming projects. The Art Guild provides Prince of Peace with a positive environment for artists using any medium to share, plan, create and exhibit for the purpose of glorifying God. The Art Guild meets the second Tuesday of each month.
