Drama rehearsals for older singers in lead roles take place Sundays at 12:30 pm
Praise Choir meets weekly to learn fun, high-energy music while building faith and lasting friendships. We share the music we’ve learned through two large-scale productions: a special Advent worship service featuring music/drama led by kids, and a fully-staged spring musical. All singers are welcome. No audition needed!

Keeping the Promise
Ages K-5 | Dates TBA
We dedicate one day each year in the life of your child to remember promises made during baptism. Keeping the Promise family experiences (KTP) equip families to deepen their faith at home:
-
Kindergarten: We will explore a simple at-home practice called FAITH5, providing a framework for intentional connection with each other and with God.
-
Grade 1: Through the Lord’s Prayer, we will learn about the significance of prayer and explore many different ways to pray.
-
Grade 2: Parents and guardians will be given a new Bible to place into the hands of their second graders. Then we’ll crack the binding and explore the pages in an immersive family experience.
-
Grade 3: Learn about the history, meaning and context of the Ten Commandments.
-
Grade 4: Prepare for your first communion! Learn about the history and significance of communion as well as the process here at Prince of Peace. Children will decorate stoles to wear to on their first communion. Note: This program is open to anyone grade 4 and older who would like to prepare for their first communion.
-
Grade 5: We’ll examine the different parts of the Apostles’ Creed to figure out what it means for your faith journey.

Look ahead to the other KTP events your child will experience in the coming years.
