Bottom Line: God Multiplies Our Giving
It doesn’t matter what we have to give, it just matters that we give. God will do the rest. This week we’ll take a look at the Feeding of the 5,000 to learn about the way that God can multiply the impact of our giving.

Text Giving Is Here!

You can now make a contribution to Prince of Peace with a quick text message!

Text giving is a quick and easy way to give an offering for those of us who don’t carry cash or checkbooks – and you can include the kiddos, too! It’s also a great way for students to begin practicing personal stewardship.

You can find more information including step-by-step directions here.

If you have questions about your registration, contact Dawn Ridgway.

POP Rocks! Middle School Choir (grade 6 to 8)
Wednesdays (September – April)

The middle school choir provides ongoing support for our student ministry as we seek to engage students in opportunities to be involved in music and in missional experiences. While POP ROCKS! will sing for worship services, the primary goal is to send them out to sing and serve all over the Twin Cities and beyond.

POP ROCKS! is an awesome, positive and inspiring ministry where we celebrate what students can accomplish with dedication and effective leadership. Please join us on Wednesday evenings in the Worship Center Room 130 (lower level under the Sanctuary) from 5:30 ‐ 6:15 pm.

Affirmation of Baptism (Confirmation)

In Affirmation of Baptism (offered in the fall and spring), students commit to taking the lead in their own life of discipleship. We approach each of the participants as if they are characters in a subplot of God’s great story.

Then, applying the principles of what makes a truly great story, help them clarify and bring meaning to the life they commit to during Affirmation of Baptism. Along the way we’ll learn about who God is, who we are, the story we’re a part of, and the life we’ve been called to.

Two sessions are offered, one in the spring and one in the fall. Each session consists of 10 classes on Sunday mornings. Each session culminates in a celebration with the entire Prince of Peace community during weekend worship.

Bottom Line: What Happens in Church was Never Meant to Stay at Church

The love, joy, and compassion that we experience at church is a gift that we get to bring to everyone we know. When we do that, we create places where heaven and earth meet; places where people encounter Jesus!

Things to Know This Week:

  • Register your students. If your students are going to have a hard time attending often, let us know. We will work with you so that your busy student can still be involved with StuMin no matter their availability.
  • Review the Wednesday night schedule and locations below. One point to remember is that if your student is meeting their small group leader for the first time, they will connect with them in the back of the sanctuary just before worship. The leader will be holding their name on a sign. We will also have rosters posted around the Worship Center and Christian Life Center just in case you don’t know who your leader is.
  • Reach out to your Small Group Leader – If you do not have their contact information, contact Dawn Ridgway at
  • Volunteer! Half an hour? Half a year? The whole meal deal? We’ve got something for everyone and projects for groups. Check out the opportunities and sign up here.
