Student Ministry is where youth in grades 6-12 worship God, form lasting relationships, and serve in the world. There is a lot to Student Ministry at Prince of Peace!

Theme: Wapo Youth Camp and Dominican Mission Trip
This week we have students all over the world! We have one group of our students in Amery, WI at Camp Wapo and another group of students who are at Doulos Discovery School in the Dominican Republic for a mission trip. Pray that our students connect with God and with each other in significant ways this week! Follow our StuMin Facebook page and Instagram account for live updates throughout the week.
Middle School Summer StuMin will not meet this week. We will meet again on Wednesday, July 25 at the Fouberg House (19072 Foxfield Drive, Prior Lake, MN 55372).
High School Summer StuMin will not meet this week. We will meet again on Wednesday, July 25 at Prince of Peace from 6:00 to 8:00pm
Do you know family friends that are looking for a home church or for a student ministry for their student? The summer is a perfect time to have them check-out StuMin! Have them check out our New Member page or have them contact Jason Kramme to find out how to get connected to Prince of Peace.
Check the Registrations and Volunteer Opportunities below for ways you and your family can get connected to what is happening in StuMin this summer. You can also check the calendar for a full list of what is happening in StuMin.
This summer we are planning six weeks of social gatherings for students in middle and high school on June 20 and 27, July 11 and 25, August 1 and 8. Each week middle school will gather in one house while high school will gather in another. There is no registration fee for participating, however students are asked to donate snacks when they attend. This is open to Prince of Peace students and friends. Activities will include swimming, wakeboarding, pontooning, ultimate Frisbee, movies, and game nights. All students must have a signed Liability Release and Behavior Agreement form (.pdf) to participate. Contact Jason Kramme for more information.
Every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00pm in Jason’s office, the StuMin team gathers to plan weekly ministry, trips, and events. We would like to have regular input from students and adults at these meetings. This is a great way to get volunteer hours! Please RSVP by contacting Jason Kramme.

Text Giving Is Here!
You can now make a contribution to Prince of Peace with a quick text message!
Text giving is a quick and easy way to give an offering for those of us who don’t carry cash or checkbooks – and you can include the kiddos, too! It’s also a great way for students to begin practicing personal stewardship.
You can find more information including step-by-step directions here.
If you have questions about your registration, contact Dawn Ridgway.
Our students in grades 6-12 are welcome to find a place in our StuMin band. Rehearsal runs from 5:30pm to 6:15pm every Wednesday in the sanctuary in the Worship Center. Due to a high number of students, we use a rotation system to ensure that all students can contribute.
In Affirmation of Baptism (offered in the fall and spring), students commit to taking the lead in their own life of discipleship. We approach each of the participants as if they are characters in a subplot of God’s great story.
Then, applying the principles of what makes a truly great story, help them clarify and bring meaning to the life they commit to during Affirmation of Baptism. Along the way we’ll learn about who God is, who we are, the story we’re a part of, and the life we’ve been called to.
Two sessions are offered, one in the spring and one in the fall. Each session consists of 10 classes on Sunday mornings. Each session culminates in a celebration with the entire Prince of Peace community during weekend worship.
Throughout the year we host opportunities for students in every grade. Below you will find an activity calendar with our upcoming events where you can find more information and register to participate.
