Birth – Grade 5
Families, volunteers and staff partner together to help raise faith‐filled children by bringing Bible stories to life through music, hands on activities, and time in small groups.
A New Season of Ministry
Now that we have transitioned into a new season of ministry, I’m excited to focus the amazing things we have going on here this summer! Camps offer an amazing opportunity to dig a bit deeper, build daily rather than weekly relationships, and exhale as we settle in a little bit. Camps at Prince of Peace are like no other! I invite you to read below about each of the camps we’re planning and plug in to those that are a fit! We also have a fun new weekly opportunity for you to plug in as a family…an opportunity for you to both participate AND serve together as we continue to reach out to our community. Check it out below…

WEEKLY SUMMER MINISTRY AT PRINCE OF PEACE
+ Family Night Out | Tuesdays
Every once in a while, you just need to have a Family Night Out! This summer we hope that your family will join us on Tuesday evenings in the Christian Life Center Atrium from 5:30-7:30 pm for a community dinner, awesome activities, and a chance to give back to the community. Family Night Out is a partnership between Prince of Peace, Echo Park Elementary, and the Salvation Army. This summer our activities have a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) focus to better serve our partner school, which is a STEM magnet. These nights are for families with elementary-age children. Childcare is provided for younger kids. Cost for entire summer is $45 for meals, take-home crafts, and to support Mission Outpost. Register or volunteer today!

Prince of Peace has dedicated one day each year in the life of your child to celebrate baptism. Keeping the Promise Family Experiences (KTP) are designed to remind us of the important promises you made during your child’s baptism.
The Child Development and Learning Center (CDLC) offers a safe, loving Christian environment with respect and support for all children and families. We provide opportunities for each child to define self, understand who they are and discover their role within the community.
CDLC of Prince of Peace, founded in 1971, is a Christian preschool for children ages 3 to 5. It began with 30 students and currently serves over 150 children each week. We welcome children of any cultural background or religious affiliation.
At CDLC we strive to provide and develop strong self-esteem in our children allowing them to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. The curriculum is carefully designed to provide hands-on activities for children in the areas of large motor, cooking, music, creative arts, science, story and Spanish.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) invites moms to come just as they are to build friendships, be encouraged by one another, and gain practical parenting strategies. You can expect food, inspiring speakers, crafts, service projects, and social outings. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom.
