This is a huge blessing to our Mission Outpost guests. It is also going to be a lot of work and we need your help! We estimate the food will fill up to 4 semi-trailers. On Saturday, May 11 we will need 50 volunteers to help receive, pre-sort, and pack the food here at Prince of Peace and at the Apple Valley Post Office. There will be two shifts at Prince of Peace: noon-3:30 pm and 3:00 – 6:30 pm and 1 shift at Apple Valley Post office: noon-3:30 pm. Supervised school-age kids are welcome to help as well. SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER Can’t make it on May 11? No worries, there will be chances to help unpack, sort and shelve the food in the coming weeks. Watch for more information.
