We all carry around varying degrees of loss. It is part of our story, sometimes a very lonely and isolating part. Here are a few resources we offer at Prince of Peace that can help you know you don’t have to navigate the journey alone. Prince of Peace Support Groups Grief Support Group Monday, 6:00 ‐ 7:30 pm | Sanctuary Grief Support opens the door to healing by providing safe, confidential, Christ‐centered support for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Weekly guest speakers address an aspect of the grief process. Following the speaker we break into small groups for sharing and support. Emotional Wellness Support Group Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 pm | Room 200A Emotional Wellness Support Group (formerly Depression Support Group) provides group education and support — not clinical treatment. Any adult is welcome to attend to find support in dealing with difficult emotions, increase self-awareness, gain insight, develop social-emotional skills, seek to change negative behavior patterns, and improve relationships with self, others and God. Women’s Divorce Support Group Second and Fourth Monday, 6:30-7:30 pm | Room 100B We offer safe, confidential, Christ-centered small group emotional and educational support led by a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. Individualized meetings are available for those who would like one on one support. Resources are also available for family members of those going through divorce. Person’s with Dementia Support Group Second Wednesday, 2:00-3:00 pm, October – March | Room 200E Build a support system with people who understand. This support group for people with dementia provides information, resources and support directly to the person impacted. A screening is required before attending.
