Our Board, along with Jane Victorey and I, are keeping a close eye on developments and keeping in close touch with one another. Please know that we are taking this situation seriously but confidently. We continue to trust that God is at work even in the most challenging circumstances and will use them for good. After much conversation we have decided to follow the CDC’s recommendation to refrain from large group gatherings for eight weeks. That means that our campus will be closed through mid-May. CDLC Preschool will not return for the remainder of this school year. Much of our programming will be done in a digital format, including weekend worship and Children’s and Student Ministry. You will find these and other resources on our website. Towards the end of the eight weeks our leadership will re-evaluate the situation, and if something wonderful and miraculous changes before then, we’ll re-evaluate sooner. In the meantime, please know that many of our staff is still at work remotely. Mission Outpost continues to provide food to those in need. If you have a need of any kind, don’t hesitate to call the church office at 952-435-8102 and leave a message. Your call will be routed to the appropriate staff member. Your continued generosity is so appreciated as we commit to caring for our staff. If you are not yet a sustaining member of this ministry, a commitment of $5 or $10 a week can make a HUGE impact. Find more information about online giving here. Offerings can also be mailed to the church at 13801 Fairview Dr. Burnsville, MN 55337. Please share this important information with those who may not be on email or social media. We want everyone to be informed. And know that we are praying for you, and we covet your prayers. Until we see one another face-to-face, know that you are loved and held in the strong arms of God.
