November Called to Connect Weekend

 In Featured, In, Up

Wow, what an amazing Called to Connect weekend at Prince of Peace!

Our student ministry band did a wonderful job leading us in worship. The POP Rocks! middle school choir was spectacular, students led us in prayer, and there was a beautifully choreographed dance during the opening song.

Swen led a great children’s message that included a light-hearted reenactment of the story of Jonah.

Jason Kramme provided a powerful message helping us to see an expanded view of our brothers and our sisters.

We also received an exciting update from Pastor Jeff on the land and building.

Beginning this week, there will be a series of informational forums held to discuss the proposed building plans followed by a Q&A. Please try to attend one of them to hear this important information.

Land & Building Forums:

Following Engage Bible Study in the Community Room:
Monday, November 7 at 7:30 pm
Tuesday, November 8 at 7:30 am
Wednesday, November 9 at 1:00 pm

Following WOW Family Worship in the Family Room:
Wednesday November 9 at 5:40 and 6:40 pm

Between worship services in the Community Room:
Sunday, November 13 at 9:30 and 10:45 am

Following Children’s Ministry in the Chapel:
Sunday, November 20 at 10:45 am

Most importantly, between worship services, we were all able to connect with one another around appetizers on Saturday evening and breakfast on Sunday. Generations rubbed shoulders and had meaningful conversations as they ate together, filling their hearts and stomachs alike.

These are exciting days to be a part of Prince of Peace! We invite everyone to join us each week as God’s Spirit leads us and we come together to worship as the body of Christ.

Please join us in praying for the next steps with our building project. And be sure to join us for our next Called to Connect weekend on December 3-4. It will include the Bake Sale and Children’s Christmas Musical.

This is a great time to unite around our mission and our desire to make a difference in our community and in the lives of all who come together and connect as a Prince of Peace family.
