The 29th annual Mini Mega Sale will be held in and around the Christian Life Center building and includes the following sale areas: Adult Clothing, Shoes & Accessories; Antiques & Collectables; Baskets; Children’s Clothing, Equipment & Toys; Computers & Electronics; Craft Supplies; Furniture; Home Décor; Holiday Décor; Household Items; Lamps; Linens; Office & School Supplies; Puzzles; Sporting Goods; Vacuums. There is also a food stand, coffee shop, and package check.

Prince of Peace is undergoing a large construction project. Please plan your visit accordingly.

Mega Sale dates

The donation center is open August 10-18. Please bring your donations to Door F of the Christian Life Center building (main door to Welcome Center, north side of building).

Due to limited space, we are unable to take everything as we have in past years. Please review the “we accept” and “we do not accept lists” below.


Donation Drop Off Dates

Large Items 

Do not bring any size furniture and other large items to the donation center. The only item we will collect via drop off will be bicycles during normal donation center hours.


Furniture Donations

We have reduced the number and type of furniture donations we accept. If you have furniture that you would like to donate, please call Kim Harris at 952-898-9310 from August 1-10 and email a picture of the item. We will respond to let you know if the item will be accepted and to schedule a pick up or drop off time.

  • Sunday, August 18 | 9:00 am – 3:00 pm


Please note

  • Donation receipts are available.
  • All donations must be clean (no stains) and in good working condition. Clothing should be free of holes.
  • Please pre-sort the clothing items in separate bags for size and gender (men, women, boys, girls, baby).
  • Bring computer systems (less than 10 years old) as soon as possible after the donation center opens for testing.

  • Children’s & baby equipment – less than 10 years old
  • Clothing (adult & children’s sizes) – no stains or holes
  • Computers, flat screen monitors, printers – less than 10 years old
  • Craft supplies & scrapbooking supplies
  • Furniture – kitchen/dining room table and chairs, dressers, bedroom sets (no mattress/box spring), sofa/loveseat (no sleeper sofas)
  • Holiday decor – small items (no Christmas trees)
  • Home decor
  • Housewares
  • Lamps
  • Linens
  • Office & school supplies
  • Small appliances – no larger than a microwave; countertop only (no bread makers)
  • Sporting goods – no skis, trampolines, tents, exercise equipment
  • Tools – small tools and hand-powered tools
  • Toys
  • TVs – flat screen only
  • Vacuums

Consider recycling:

Please consider recycling the items we do not accept. Some recycling can be done for free, while other options may include a small fee.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Area Coordinator: Oversee the operations of specific areas of the Mega Sale before and during the sale. No experience needed; lots of guidance is offered. This job can be shared and is a great way for couples, friends or adults and children to work together.
  • Donation Center Volunteer: Help sort, clean, and price donations during donation center hours. Check in at donation center.
  • Sale Volunteer: Assist shoppers, straighten tables and displays, work the checkout table.


Donation Center Volunteer

Volunteers of all ages are needed to sort and price items. No sign up is required – just show up when you’re able! Check in at the donation center located at Door F of the Christian Life Center building (main door to Welcome Center, north side of building). We’ve got tasks for everyone.

Sale Volunteer

We need to fill 950 shifts to work during the sale; there are jobs for everyone! Volunteers can register between worship services in August or email us anytime. We will not have online volunteer registration and volunteers will not receive an email confirmation regarding shift assignments.
