Drywall and painting are complete, and the new sound booth has been constructed. Installation of the wood ceiling is in progress and will be complete the first week of June. Construction of the worship platform and installation of the speakers and other worship technology will be finished in July. This multi-use space is anticipated to be one of the highest use areas in our building. It will provide intimate space for weddings and funerals, and flexible room for Family Ministry, Vacation Bible School, Worship Arts Camp, large group meetings, overflow seating, and for many other events. Watch for an end of July final completion! Mission Outpost construction is in process both inside the current building and in the new warehouse addition. The warehouse will provide much needed space for receiving and sorting, refrigeration, mission outpost storage, and furniture ministry, along with a facilities garage. The exterior of the new warehouse is nearly complete. Interior work in the warehouse will continue through the summer with installation of refrigeration, framing, and mechanical systems. Finishing work continues inside the existing building, including our new child care area. Both the child care area and Mission Outpost will be substantially larger, in space designed specifically for these ministries. This wonderful new space is to be completed mid-October. Please pray for the continued safety of our construction teams. And be sure to check out our capital campaign webpage for fly-through videos of our finished space. You won’t want to miss the transformation as the adventure continues! Week of May 10 The new Mission Outpost is taking shape! Framing and drywall work continue as we create new offices, conference rooms, a new Dental Clinic and a large shopping area for food, clothing, and supplies. Interior drywall work should be complete by the end of May for the Outpost and the new child care area. The walls for our new warehouse space will start to go up by mid-May. This warehouse addition will provide space for shipping, receiving, storage, refrigeration, and sorting for the Outpost. A facilities garage is also included. Work continues in our beautiful new Chapel. The acoustic wall panels are scheduled for installation this week, and wood walls will be installed towards the end of May. In June the wood ceiling goes up, followed by the construction of a worship platform and completion of the worship technology. The Chapel is anticipated to be complete in August, and Mission Outpost about mid-October. Please pray for the continued safety of our construction teams.
