These conditions impacted the ability of some of our construction subcontractors to safely work and we’ve used up all of the weather contingency that had been built into the construction schedule. We’re watching the construction progress closely for any potential delays in opening on Labor Day weekend, and our contractors are all working to still meet that schedule. Roofing has been completed on the new addition and has begun on the renovated area. The exterior wall framing is complete, along with sealing the window openings with poly so that the new addition area can be heated for continuing interior work. Topping has been poured on the precast flooring, allowing extension of ductwork and electrical work into the new addition. Framing crews are beginning work on the new Community Room. New kitchen equipment has been selected and we’ve evaluated the equipment that can be reused from our existing kitchen. Please pray for the continued safety of our construction teams.
