June 2021 Update: One Church Transformation

Our construction crews are busy with Phase 2 of our One Church Transformation project. Many construction projects across the industry have been impacted by supply issues. We’re very fortunate that we have been able to continue with our construction, in spite of a few delays.

The drywall and painting are complete in the Chapel and the acoustic wall panels have been installed. We’ve experienced delays in receiving the wood panels for our ceiling and walls in the Chapel. We’re anticipating the wood ceiling to be complete by the end of June. Once the ceiling is finished, the speakers and other worship technology can be installed, and the platform completed. This multi-use space is anticipated to be one of the highest use areas in our building. Watch for a late August completion for the Chapel!

Finishing work continues in the new Mission Outpost and child care areas in the original triangle building. Framing is complete, as is most of the sanding and painting. Plumbing work is underway, as well as completion of mechanical and electrical systems. Both the child care area and mission outpost will be substantially larger, in space designed specifically for these ministries. The construction schedule for our warehouse addition has been pushed back due to delays in receiving precast panels. All other material is on site or on track for timely delivery. We anticipate precast work to start around the first of July.

Once the exterior of the addition is complete, we can begin with installation of refrigeration, framing, and mechanical systems in this space. Mission Outpost and the child care area are anticipated to be complete in late fall.
