Senior Adults are invited three hear local experts present information on social security for both couples and singles, taxes in retirement and estate planning. March 7: Social Security for Couples & Singles
Topic specifics that will be addressed in this class: Five factors to consider when deciding to apply for benefits; when it makes sense to delay benefits—and when it does not; innovative strategies for coordinating benefits with your spouse; and how to coordinate Social Security with your other forms of retirement income. The decisions you make today can have a tremendous bearing on the total amount of benefits you stand to receive over your lifetime.

March 14: Taxes in Retirement
You’ll learn how the current tax system, Social Security rules, and other factors interact to either cost or save you money. We will discuss what an effective marginal tax rate is and why it matters more than your tax bracket and how the timing of withdrawals from different retirement income accounts impacts what you keep and what you pay in taxes.

Both the March 7 and March 14 classes will be taught by Rolf White. Rolf is the owner and lead collaborator of Business and Family Advisors LLC and has been in business for over 20 years. Rolf is licensed in MN and WI.
March 21: Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts
Effective estate planning anticipates issues, provides solutions, and creates peace-of-mind for you and your loved ones. Jeff Graham, local attorney who works with senior adults, will be presenting information on how to create meaningful estate planning goals. He will cover also cover creating wills and trusts and how they work. If you have questions about starting the process or how to tweak your current plan, please join us.
