Christmas Hospitality

Written by Amy Oestreich

Christmas is Prince of Peace’s busiest season! Each year hundreds of visitors come for our stunning musical events and beautiful worship services.

This year there will be extra opportunities for all of us to lean into our sense of adventure and hospitality as we navigate the Christmas season and welcome people in the midst of our construction project!

Here are a few ways you can make Prince of Peace easier to navigate and more welcoming for everyone this year:

Parking. The lot between our two buildings is reserved for those with walking challenges or handicap needs. Feel free to drop off your people at Door A (Circle Drive) and then find parking that suits your abilities. The further way you park, the more space we have for the people who need it more. The lower lot near Mission Outpost is a great parking alternative. Consider carpooling or arranging to pick someone up on your way to Christmas worship if that works for you.

Wayfinding. If someone looks lost, offer to help! Whether it’s finding an entrance, a restroom, or the correct exit after service, be aware of others that may need some direction. If it is a question you cannot answer, find a volunteer or staff member.

Ushers/Greeters.  We will need LOTS of help this year as we welcome all people to our Christmas services. Sign up with your family, friends, or small group – help us greet people with a smile and guide them to the sanctuary. Sign up here

We have green signs throughout the building to help you findyour way! Thank you for your partnership and sense of adventure as we dive intothis Christmas season!
