Roofing work is complete for both the new addition and the renovated area, and new HVAC equipment is set in place. The weather barrier is complete and window installation has begun. Inside the building, the concrete topping has been poured, framing is completed and sheetrock work began for the preschool and some office areas. New kitchen equipment has been ordered for the commercial kitchen on the 2nd floor and installation is expected the end of May. Stone masonry work on the exterior is also scheduled to begin soon, along with paving the drive lane in front of the Christian Life Center building. We anticipate construction to be completed at the end of August with final completion of punch list items done by the beginning of October. The construction team is focusing on completion of the new preschool space on the first floor as a top priority. This will allow CDLC preschool to open just in time for the 2019-2020 school year in new space, along with shared space for Family Ministry at the start of the new program year this fall. We anticipate staff moving into new offices at the end of August. Please pray for the continued safety of our construction teams.
