A New Look for Mission Outpost

 In Out

We are very excited for you to come see our improved Clothing Closet and Grocery Store in the Christian Life Center! Our Clothing Closet is brighter thanks to the many windows and nicely organized with new clothing/shoe racks and pant hanging styles. Our Grocery Store is roomier and now hosts a choice model food shelf experience, meaning guests select the foods their family will eat and know how to cook. This is an interim move as we prepare to move into new space in Phase 2 of our One Church Transformation project.

Families also experience opportunities to connect with our MOVE team to assist them with applying for County Services including: Emergency Services, SNAP (formerly food stamps), MNsure, job search, resume building and much more. The Salvation Army is onsite to provide other social services as needed and has the ability to work with Dakota, Scott and Carver County residents. We also partner with Fairview, Dakota County Nurses, Walgreens, Metro Dental and other organizations to provide community resources to our families. Additional services from our Dental Clinic and Furniture Ministry, along with more updates to come, allow us to better meet the needs of our community.

There are more improvements to come over the next months. Please come and see what is happening and where you may be called to join us. This new look creates some new serving opportunities. If you are interested in hearing more, please contact Jan at jdawson@popmn.org or Linda at lolson@popmn.org.

Need new wine skins for new wine. What Lord is the way the new wine happens? The wine is all gone but there is a wedding to celebrate, a new birth, a new thing, a road made straight?
