2-Year Celebration: One Church Capital Campaign

May 2019 marks the 2-year celebration of the One Church capital campaign to support our Worship Center transformation! This very successful campaign has provided nearly $7 million in commitments from 960 families towards the estimated $13.6M cost of Phase 1. Nearly 80% of these commitments have already been received, allowing us to go well into construction without borrowing costs.

Phase 1 is the largest of three phases and includes 43,500 square feet of new and renovated space, including the outer shell of the Chapel. We will have a clear and welcoming front door to significantly enhance hospitality and wayfinding. The renovation includes transforming the former child care area and Community Room into offices, conference rooms, small group and flex spaces. The new addition will house CDLC Preschool and Family Ministry space, and also includes a catering kitchen, coffee bar and large gathering area for hospitality. The upper floor of the new addition will include a Community Room, commercial kitchen and additional coffee bar space. We will have less dedicated/more flexible spaces to accommodate more ministry possibilities and all of our building systems and technology will be upgraded to be more efficient.

Later phases include completion of the Chapel, renovation of the Sanctuary and creation of a new Mission Outpost in the Fellowship Hall space. Exterior improvements will include parking lot resurfacing, new parking lot lights, extensive landscaping and an outdoor columbarium.
