THIS WEEK AT A GLANCE
Theme: Summer Schedule
Starting on Tuesday, June 12 and every Tuesday until the fall, you are invited to our StuMin Planning Meetings from 3:00-4:00pm in Jason Kramme’s office. These are the meetings where we develop what happens each week in Student Ministry. In an attempt to broaden input, deepen creativity, and raise ownership we would like to have leaders involved in the process. If you would like to be involved, please RSVP by emailing Jason Kramme.
Last week a survey was sent to you via email. Please complete that survey ASAP. If you have trouble accessing it or you did not receive the survey, contact Jason Kramme.
Check the Registrations and Volunteer Opportunities below for ways that you and your small group can get involved with StuMin at Prince of Peace.
Middle School VBS After Party for students entering grades 6-8 is on Thursday, June 14 from noon to 5:00p.m. We will go to Valley Fair by bus and then return to church. We are currently looking for chaperones for this event. If your group was struggling to connect during the year, this is a great opportunity to come together. Please contact Jason Kramme for more information or you can Register here for Middle School VBS After Party
High School VBS After Party for students entering grades 9-12 is on Thursday, June 14 from 7:00p.m. to 10:00p.m. at Emagine Theater in Lakeville. We will pick a movie in a private theater. We are currently looking for chaperones for this event. This is a great invite opportunity for small groups that have lost members in the transition to high school. Please contact Jason Kramme for more information or you can Register here for High School After Party.
Summer StuMin This summer we are planning six weeks of social gatherings for students in middle and high school on June 20 and 27, July 11 and 25, August 1 and 8. Each week middle school will gather in one house while high school will gather in another. There is no registration fee for participating, however students are asked to donate snacks when they attend. This is open to Prince of Peace students and friends. Activities will include swimming, wakeboarding, pontooning, ultimate Frisbee, movies, and game nights. We are looking for adult volunteers to chaperone events. If your group was struggling to connect or has lost members in the last year, this is a great way to go deeper and invite new friends to your group before the school year starts. All students must have a signed Liability Release and Behavior Agreement form (.pdf) to participate. Contact Jason Kramme for more information.
Vacation Bible School
From Monday, June 11 to Thursday, June 14 you are invited to volunteer at Vacation Bible School. Each year Prince of Peace hosts more than 350 kids for an amazing hands-on faith-building experience. In order to make that happen, we need volunteers to lead crews of kids from station to station, serve as station helpers, and a whole lot more. Find out how you can get involved.
Leaders are needed for this ministry over the summer. You do not need to be at every week and your main role will be to connect with students in an informal setting. If you would like to volunteer or would like more information, contact Jason Kramme.

Text Giving Is Here!
You can now make a contribution to Prince of Peace with a quick text message!
Text giving is a quick and easy way to give an offering for those of us who don’t carry cash or checkbooks – and you can include the kiddos, too! It’s also a great way for students to begin practicing personal stewardship.
You can find more information including step-by-step directions here.
If you have questions about registration or your small group details, check with Dawn Ridgway at firstname.lastname@example.org.
